MBT is focused on building relationships through the game of basketball. Through those relationships we are able to instill confidence in every player we work with taking their game to the next level one step at a time without skipping any steps. We provide positive mentors in each kid’s life by holding them accountable. We tell them what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear.
It is important with every player we train that we provide a customized plan while setting realistic and measurable goals. We believe it is important to connect with the player’s coach or parent to learn more about each athlete we train to provide a more productive workout. We pride ourselves in skills/drills that translate to game action progression by progression. Learn the skill - perfect the skill at full speed - full speed with a defender - full speed with defenders making a decision.
Coach Pat began his training business back in 2007 when he was a senior in high school. Coach Pat has always been passionate about working with kids and helping them achieve their goals. He has 13 years of individual, small group, and team training experience and currently spends the majority of his time in the northwest suburbs.
As a player, Pat played high school basketball at Champlin Park High School where he was a 2-year starter and team captain. From there, Pat went on to play college ball at Saint Mary’s University in Winona. After graduating, Pat worked for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx for 4 years. During this time, he directed basketball camps, player clinics, and training. He was also a member of the Minnesota Lynx practice team.
